(Video) Mo Salah’s curt reply in post-match mixed zone will have Liverpool fans terrified

Mo Salah’s curt reply to reporters after Liverpool’s 2-2 draw at West Ham could leave Reds fans fearing the worst.

The Egyptian was involved in a frosty exchange with Jurgen Klopp during the match, and despite the manager downplaying it afterwards, the player appeared to add fuel to the fire afterwards.

As he walked through the mixed zone after the game, the 31-year-old declined reporters’ requests for interviews and simply replied “There’s going to be fire today if I speak…of course”, not one breaking stride or averting his forward gaze.

Salah’s short reply will inevitably fuel speculation of a bust-up with Klopp, rather than a mere flashpoint in the heat of the moment at the London Stadium.

One thing is for certain – we haven’t heard the last of this incident by a long stretch.

  1. As much as I love Salah, his anger should be directed at the opposition on the pitch and not Klopp off it. He has done very little to justify starting and did very little again today. Let your football do the talking and keep your mouth shut. Klopp deserves better than your mouthing off to him.

    1. Totally agree with you he is paid alot of money and for the pass few weeks done nothing to earn that.
Tbh is the Saudis come in with a alleged offer off £150m I would snap there hands off and buy Leroy sane for £70m. Ronaldo did this at Utd thought he was untouchable and demanded respect, sorry salah gotta earn it and you have seriously let the fans down lately. No matter how u feel when you pull the badge on you sweat blood tears and pain for the club or in his case just stand around and wait for the ball. I don’t know who he prays to when he kneels down in a match but you need to do more praying, pray for hitting the net also pray for nunes too

    2. I have to agree with you. He’s been disappointing with his form and taking out on Klopp is wrong.

    3. Salah has been great for Liverpool but i think it is time for him to move on. Let him go at the end of the season and bring in fresh players

  2. Absolutely, your performance MUST tell the story!
Being almost invisible off late and then mouthing off to Klopp is almost childish!
I don’t get my way so I’m going to start blabbing that is not realizing how tiny your contribution has been.
You’re one of the people who should guide the squad!! How very disappointing!!!!

  3. He has been humiliated several times by Klopp being substituted by below average players

    1. He wouldn’t have been substituted if he was pulling his weight, clearly of late he hasn’t been doing this.Other players get substituted but don’t blow a fuse, they are man enough to accept the Manager’s decision.

  4. After what Salah did,Klopp should have told him to sit back down and not brought him on.Its time to sell him at the end of season due to his performances on the pitch anyway, although he’ll always be an LFC legend along with Klopp.

  5. I owe full respect to Mo Salah as a player and Klopp as a coach. I think in some heated arguments they bothe had a clash, which I think should be resolved between themselves. Otherwise it’s the name of the club, the coach and the player at stake.
So they’ve to resolve this problem within the club or between Klopp and Salah

  6. Mo-salah,as good as he is and has been, his experiencing deep inform since the afcon season, then he got imjured,,all this pull alongsaid him, charaterised by poor team performace, has gotten the better of his emotions, all what is required is a break from all this after the season is over, then maybe concetrate on his recovery from the injury,,by the time we heading to preseason, otherwise, most of our players arw at that moment as of now,and the manager, also needs time off,,vis been good, so very good, but gis also ran out of gas..
..what is required for now,is a surpport mechanisim for rhe entire squad, from the backeoom staff to thr bench…
..just that, then we shall be back on track..
…people should also stop reading to much into oiur occourances for now
    Ynwa

  7. Salah needs to have some Respect for klopp who dose he think he is ,he has played crap since he come back from the National League can’t put the ball in the net so klopp done right dropping him to the bench Mo is like a big stroppy kid when he doesn’t get his own way he needs to grow up

  8. It has been obvious watching Liverpool recently the squad looked lack luster and lost with non chalant attitude and slow passing with lack of creativity

  9. Your opinion is very simple and lacking depth. Mo is very professional and wouldn’t act like this unless there are serious matters. Either wait and see or try to dig the facts out.

  10. myself own brain head mind and heart tell me of to break Liverpool Football Club and Squad plus Team Top Score High Honour League Table List Target is a Ian Rush of 310 Score Target to Mohamed Salah of 246 of 131 to 311 Brand New Break Record of Liverpool Football Club and Squad plus Team Hall Honour League Table List Target to me ok
