I took my shirt off, the message on it means a lot to me as well, so the best goal for me personally.”Gakpo then confirmed that the goal and the moment of becoming champions was his best Premier League memory so far, with two goals in the 7-0 thrashing of Man United in 2023 a close second.“It was an amazing day [against Spurs], so many great things happened in the game,” he says.



For me to score in this game was very special. “This game and the game against United 7-0.

I think two historical moments for us, becoming 20 times champion, scoring in the game as well, we played a good game as a team and also 7-0 is a big thing as well.”Gakpo says he can score even more for LiverpoolAs well as picking his best moment in a Liverpool shirt, Gakpo also gave some insight into one of his favourite finishes: the reverse Arjen Robben, cut in and shoot from outside the box.Shown footage of his goal against Leicester City at Anfield last season, the former PSV Eindhoven captain admitted that this particular move is something he works on a lot in training.“I practice a lot, I’m still practicing, I think I can even score more goals from this position because I practice that much,” Gakpo says. 18 also confirmed that this is his favourite type of goal to score because he ‘practiced it the most.’With only two goals scored from 10 appearances so far this season, Liverpool fans will hope that practice soon becomes perfect for Gakpo.
