While Arne Slot needs to get his star forwards going, he might be worried after 19-year-old Jayden Danns has been told he will never break through at Anfield given the talent ahead of him in the pecking order. Jayden Danns told he has “no chance” of making it at Liverpool after summing splurge Liverpool spent £466million in the summer on new signings and for someone like Danns, it means his pathway to the first team is obstructed, unlike Rio Ngumoha.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Ally McCoist has argued that there is little to no chance that Danns has a realistic way of becoming a Liverpool regular with the Reds’ current depth at center-forward. If he moves, he has got a chance.

“Jayden Danns, who Rob obviously really thinks he is going places if he is going to be next England No. 9 in the immediate future, he won’t be doing it at Liverpool.” The 19-year-old is on a long-term contract with Liverpool with an unspecified expiry date but after last signing a deal with the club in February 2025, there does not seem to be any long-term issues in Danns’ relationship with the Reds.
