What do you think Liverpool fans, has Ajax’s recent form worried you?
Ajax have had a great run of form as of late, with five wins from their last five games scoring 18 goals in the process.
The Reds go back into Champions League action tonight against Ajax in the return fixture for the Reds in Group D, with the game a must-win to try and secure qualification to the knockout stages of the competition.
Liverpool’s recent form has been a cause for concern, with Jurgen Klopp’s side losing to Atalanta in the Champions League last Wednesday and drawing against Brighton in the Premier League on Saturday – with another injury added to the Reds’ list in the form of James Milner.
With Ajax’s current good form and Liverpool’s recent misfortunes, I’m cautious about the game tonight and I’m not sure if we’ll get much out of the game, especially given the effort needed to beat the side last time out in Amsterdam.
I think the current form of the Dutch team is a cause for concern for Klopp and the squad – Ajax have a great pedigree in Europe and can beat some of the best in the world on their day and have a habit of churning out top young talent that often makes waves in the Champions League each season.
Their win on Saturday saw some of their best football, putting 5 goals past Emmen with five different goalscorers.
