Thousands of Paris St-Germain fans are in Liverpool for a night to remember at Anfield. Dressed from head to toe in distinctive navy and red, PSG supporters embarked on their traditional pilgrimage from Walton Lane to the stadium this evening ahead of the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final.

The team faces tough competition from PSG, whose first-leg goals from Desire Doue and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia make the team the firm favourites entering the second leg. PSG supporters could be spotted in Liverpool city centre soaking up the atmosphere today, April 14.

Last night, supporters of the French side gathered outside the Municipal Hotel and Spa on Dale Street to welcome the team. At around 6pm, PSG supporters gathered on Walton Lane and began the walk to Anfield, passing through Stanley Park with a celebration atmosphere as flares were let off and Liverpool FC fans gathered to watch from the sidelines.
