Liverpool make the long journey to the south coast to take on Bournemouth on Saturday, and Jurgen Klopp is expected to make six changes to his starting XI.

This is a Liverpool side which has more than enough to blow Bournemouth away despite six changes, in the process maintaining their challenge to Manchester City at the top of the table.

In attack, Klopp is expected to bring back both £200,000-a-week star Mo Salah [Total Sportek] and Roberto Firmino, who are likely to replace Divock Origi and Daniel Sturridge, with Xherdan Shaqiri retaining his place due to Sadio Mane’s ongoing foot injury.

The Reds came from behind to beat Burnley 3-1 on Wednesday after Klopp fielded a much-changed lineup, with the German mastermind expected to revert to a stronger team this weekend.

Opponents Bournemouth got back to winning ways in midweek, beating Huddersfield 2-1 after four losses in a row had seen their progress grind to a halt after a stunning start to the season.

In defence, centre-backs Joel Matip and Virgil van Dijk are expected to keep their spots, while Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson are likely to come back into the side in place of the Alberto Moreno and the injured Joe Gomez.

In goal, Alisson is expected to retain his place as normal.
