He joined the club at U10 level and worked his way through the age groups before signing his first professional contract in February 2019.That same season, he was part of the FA Youth Cup-winning squad as Liverpool defeated Manchester City on penalties.To gain senior experience, Williams joined Kidderminster Harriers on loan in the 2019-20 season, making 26 appearances in the National League North.He made his senior Liverpool debut in September 2020 in a Carabao Cup tie against Lincoln City and went on to feature in the Premier League and Champions League during an injury-hit campaign, helping the club finish third.In 2021-22, he signed a new long-term contract and joined Swansea City on loan, making seven appearances in the first half of the season.He then spent the 2022-23 campaign at Blackpool, featuring 17 times in the Championship before being recalled in January 2023.Williams later joined Aberdeen on loan in June 2023, followed by a spell at Port Vale in 2023-24, which was cut short by injury in February.
