Liverpool have reportedly been offered a golden opportunity to snap up one of the most decorated footballers in Europe on a free transfer.The Reds didn’t sign any out-and-out right-backs during the summer, leaving Jeremie Frimpong as their only natural senior option in that position while Conor Bradley remains sidelined through injury, although on-loan defender Ronald Araujo is capable of playing on that flank.The Uruguayan excelled on the right against Ipswich on Friday, although one of his former adversaries from LaLiga has now been presented with the chance to potentially share a dressing room with him.Liverpool offered chance to sign Dani Carvajal for freeAccording to Graeme Bailey for TEAMtalk, Dani Carvajal has been offered to Liverpool, Manchester City and Fulham by intermediaries exploring options for the right-back, who’s now a free agent after leaving Real Madrid at the end of last season.The 34-year-old wants to continue his playing career and has spoken with numerous Spanish clubs since leaving the Bernabeu. There has also been reported interest from the MLS, Saudi Pro League and Europe.It’s claim that the Reds haven’t yet made ‘a firm commitment’ to a prospective deal for the Spain veteran at this stage.
