Liverpool's is set to be active during the summer transfer window, with several players expected to arrive at Anfield after a couple of relatively inactive windows.

Arne Slot largely won the Premier League title with Jurgen Klopp's players, with the contribution of Slot's only signing so far, Federico Chiesa, negligible in the extreme.

The Reds want a new striker and a new left-back — that's absolutely certain — while a new center-back and a new right-back are also on the agenda, if the budget stretches that far.

On Saturday, Liverpool got to see three of the players it has been linked with in action during one game as Bournemouth came from behind to beat Arsenal in the league.

The Gunners are enduring an awful run of league results, winning just three of their last 10 top-flight games, and are in danger of becoming the worst second-placed team in Premier League history, in terms of the margin between the teams in first and second at the end of the season.

Manchester City finished 19 points ahead of Manchester United at the end of the 2017-18 season, and if Liverpool beats Chelsea on Sunday, the Reds will move 18 points clear of Arsenal with three games still to play.

Arsenal took the lead through Declan Rice but goals from Dean Huijsen and Evanilson secured three points for the Europe-chasing Cherries.

Huijsen is one of several Bournemouth players that Liverpool admire, and he did his chances of securing a move back to a top club no harm at all with a performance that ended up earning him the Player of the Match award.

Liverpool fans will hope to see Huijsen celebrating more significant victories over Arsenal for many years to come if he makes the move to Anfield.

Huijsen only moved to Bournemouth from Juventus last summer but it is anticipated that his stay at the Vitality Stadium will be a short one, as a host of top European clubs prepare to swoop for the 20-year-old.

Also on Liverpool's wishlist is Milos Kerkez, the left-back who has seemingly been chosen as the Reds' preferred successor to Andy Robertson

Robertson has had a tough season on an individual lesson and is likely to be see his place in the team taken by whichever new left-back Liverpool brings in during the summer window.

Another Bournemouth star who has been linked with Liverpool is Antoine Semenyo, and he also lined up for Bournemouth's victory at the Emirates Stadium.

Liverpool is highly unlikely to sign all three men, but it feels fairly likely that the Reds will end up with one or two of them, and upon arriving at Anfield they would have the added confidence of getting an away win over Arsenal under their belt.
