Liverpool have sold a few top stars already this summer but there are some that they will simply want to keep hold of.
The Reds’ transfer business has been near-perfect so far, and if Alexander Isak does come through the door, then it will be as near to perfection as possible.
Outgoings will still occur, and based on some of the top talent that they are willing to sell, huge sums of money could be made, with Liverpool already making almost £150m from sales.
However, there are some players that are simply considered unattainable at this moment in time, and for the foreseeable future.
That being said, one player’s former coach has hinted that he might just leave Anfield, not this summer but perhaps in the near future.

Liverpool are the most successful team in England and one of the biggest around the world, meaning that it is a real honour for any player to represent the club.
Dutchman Cody Gakpo is just one player who has really made a name for himself on Merseyside, with the winger growing into an important figure around the club.
And, at 26, he still has plenty of time to grow and improve, although one of his old coaches at PSV Eindhoven has suggested that he might end up moving on given the talent he possesses.

“Sorry to say this to all the Liverpool fans, I don’t know where his level may be or may stop if he stays in this form and stays fit,” Twan Scheepers told Sky Sports.

“His mentality can bring him everywhere.
To Madrid or Munich, those are the rumours I hear, or if he stays for five years at Liverpool.
Whatever he decides, I hope he’s happy.”
The Dutchman was the subject of interest from Bayern Munich early in the summer, but any rumours were quickly shut down, with the Bundesliga side signing his former teammate Luis Diaz instead.
The winger does not currently have any rumours circulating around him about his future so fans do not have to worry, with the 26-year-old set to be a key part of Arne Slot’s plans next season.
Retaining the Premier League title is one of the hardest jobs to do, but based on the players Liverpool have acquired, they have given themselves the best chance of achieving this.
The Dutchman is now the first-choice left winger and is expected to play the majority of games, with his style bringing something much different compared to the Colombian’s.
He is much more of a finisher and direct with his play, with his signature move being to cut inside onto his right foot and curl a shot towards goal.
Now that he is one of the older and more experienced players in the team, he will be expected to step up and lead by example, something he has already done this summer in pre-season.
