Liverpool are wily operators in the transfer market and always seem to maximise profit on their departing players.
The Reds are a club that many teams do not like doing business with as they almost always negotiate on their terms and nothing else.
They are fair but firm, ensuring that they get the best possible deal, while also ensuring both parties are left satisfied.
That will be the case this summer too and after a flurry of incomings, their attention will turn to sales, something needed to balance the books.
Many of their star players are attracting interest, whether they want to sell them or not, but Liverpool find themselves in a strong position to maximise profit once again.
One player in particular is catching the eye of a handful of clubs and as many as five teams are vying for his signature, suggesting Liverpool could have a bidding war on their hands.

Many players are using the off season to relax and reflect on a busy campaign, but for younger stars trying to break into the first-team for good, they are at the Under 21 European Championship to prove a point.
Harvey Elliott is one player using this tournament to good effect, with the Englishman shining game after game and sky-rocketing his market value.

This is something Liverpool will be absolutely delighted about and according to journalist Ben Jacobs, as many as five teams have all enquired about his availability.
“He has obviously added a bit of value by the fact he scored that brace in the semi-final,” Jacobs told talkSPORT.
“You’ve got some Premier League interest from Brighton and I’m told West Ham are also considering both Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Harvey Elliott, and Fulham have made an enquiry as well.

“Leverkusen were always an interesting one as there was a feeling when the Florian Wirtz deal was happening that Harvey Elliott was one name discussed, but they’ve gone in the direction of Jarell Quansah.
“My understanding is Leverkusen have ended their interest but Leipzig are another club to watch as well, and Fiorentina in Italy have made an inquiry.”
It goes without saying that Elliott is far too good to be sat on the bench week in, week out, with the Englishman perhaps needing a move to kick-start his career for good.
However, the 22-year-old has all the ability to become a real world-beater and it would be no surprise to see him play regularly for a ‘top six club’ or European giant in the very near future.
Klopp regretted not playing Elliott enough and Arne Slot may feel the same if he departs, although getting around £40m for his services will cushion the blow.
Either way, Liverpool have a big decision to make regarding his future, but with Florian Wirtz coming in, an Anfield exit seems only a matter of when and not if.
