After guiding Liverpool to a Premier League title in his first season, Arne Slot now turns his attention to reshaping the squad for the next phase of his project.

One such figure is left-back, Kostas Tsimikas.

A sale is expected to happen this summer with Liverpool opting to follow a different route at full back, eyeing a younger profile and we will be discussing five potential clubs that could offer a starting chance for the defender.

Leeds United have emerged as a serious contender for Kostas Tsimikas, with the newly promoted side looking to strengthen key areas ahead of their Premier League return. 

Left-back has been a problem position for Leeds in recent seasons, and with Junior Firpo expected to depart, the club is in the market for a proven top-flight option. 

The Greek defender, now available after falling down the pecking order at Liverpool, fits the target profile and a fee in the region of £20million would be given real consideration. 

The prospect of becoming a first-choice starter in a team with upward momentum could be a welcome shift after years of limited opportunities at Anfield.

La Liga side, Valencia, have been credited with a growing interest in Kostas Tsimikas. 

Reports in Spain suggest the club has identified left-back as a priority position with Tsimikas on their shortlist. 

Questions remain over squad depth and consistency over at the Mestalla and manager, Ruben Baraja, sees the Liverpool defender as an experienced option in a youthful side. 

Jose Gaya offers experience, but his injury issues continue to remain a worry long-term. 

Valencia would be able to offer Tsimikas consistent game-time in a technically focused environment.

Olympiacos could make an ambitious attempt for Tsimikas to return to the club this summer. 

The Greek champions are contemplating a potential loan switch as part of their efforts to strengthen for next season. 

Tsimikas’s limited playing time at Liverpool under Arne Slot has made the prospect of a return to familiar surroundings appealing for both the player and Olympiacos, with the club already knowing of the left-back’s qualities. 

Despite recent acquisitions that include Bruno Onyemaechi in January, the club’s depth remains a concern. 

Additionally, Apostolos Apostolopoulos and Doron Leidner are relatively inexperienced, therefore, a Kostas Tsimikas homecoming could be on the cards.

French outfit, LOSC Lille, are quietly monitoring Kostas Tsimikas’s situation at Liverpool. 

With Mitchel Bakker’s loan spell from Atalanta having concluded and Gabriel Gudmundsson now the club’s only natural left-back, depth on the flank is considered a must. 

Tsimikas matches Lille’s stylistic fit with his ability to overlap, deliver from wide areas and handling of defensive duties in a disciplined setup. 

For a side with UEFA Champions League aspirations and a strong record of developing experienced imports into key contributors, the Liverpool left-back could represent a seasoned option ready to make the switch to Ligue 1.

Fulham are one of the Premier League sides believed to be exploring a move for Tsimikas this summer. 

The West-London club may face a battle to keep hold of Antonee Robinson, who has drawn interest from higher up the table, including Liverpool, and are already planning contingencies should he depart. 

Manager, Marco Silva has shown a preference for proven Premier League players and a deal for Tsimikas would reflect that approach. 

The Greek defender also offers an ability to be flexible in a system, having played under varied systems at Liverpool and his adaptability can make him a great asset for Fulham’s tactical options. 

It is looking increasingly likely that Kostas Tsimikas will leave the club this summer. 

Arne Slot hopes to wrap up a deal for Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez in the coming weeks, while Andy Robertson is expected to stick around, meaning the Greek international’s Liverpool days are numbered. 

Having just turned twenty-nine, Tsimikas can still bring consistency to an established Premier League club or across Europe.
