The North London based club currently reside in fifth place, seven points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa.
Although this doesn’t mean much to Liverpool as they have already guaranteed their spot in next seasons UEFA Champions League, if they triumph against the Villains next week, it could benefit Ange Postecoglou’s men significantly.
Although, on paper, the Anfield club have a stronger team their recent form had left a lot to be desired.
So, for some, it came as a surprise that Jurgen Klopp’s men came out all guns blazing and blew Spurs away in a breathtaking opening 70 minutes?
The last 20 minutes weren’t that great but, by that time, the damage had been done.
