It has been confirmed that 50 people received hospital treatment following the horrific incident which followed Liverpool's Premier League trophy parade in the city.
Shortly after the parade concluded at around 6pm BST, a vehicle plowed into dozens of supporters, prompting a huge emergency services presence in the city.
Merseyside Police Assistant Chief Constable Jenny Sims issued an update on Tuesday, saying: "Following the incident yesterday, I can confirm on behalf of the NHS, that we are aware of 50 people who were treated at hospital.
Of those, 11 remain in hospital for ongoing treatment, they are all in a stable condition, and I am pleased to say that they appear to be recovering well."
