Barcola is keen to make the move to Anfield and has already signed off on becoming a Liverpool player before the window closes. It now appears Liverpool have virtually given into PSG’s demands for Barcola and they are closing in on snapping him up.

How easy or difficult to achieve the add-ons in the Barcola deal are remains to be seen, but PSG will want their full asking price to be met. PSG were initially asking Liverpool for £145m before reducing the price.

Barcola’s PSG team-mate Ibrahim Mbaye has been chased by Liverpool and has a personal term agreement with the Reds. Liverpool though will not meet his asking price, believing it to be too high.
