‘Not True’ – Club Eyeing Liverpool Talent Talk Dismissed

Daniel Bartel/Getty Images Liverpool talent Kieran Morrison is not being chased by Dutch Eredivisie outfit Groningen. He has recently been linked with a move to Eredivisie outfit Groningen, who are in the market for a player of a similar profile to the Reds talent.

However, according to Dutch journalist Stefan Bleeker, talk that Groningen want to sign Liverpool’s Morrison is ‘not true’. It remains to be seen where Liverpool look to place Morrison and whether that might be within English football or by sanctioning a move abroad. Morrison, who Liverpool signed from the youth ranks of rivals Manchester United, has been capped at senior international level by Northern Ireland.
