Carl Recine/Getty Images Liverpool target Ismaila Sarr ‘has officially requested to leave Crystal Palace‘ as he looks to complete a move to Anfield. Sarr is increasingly the winger they want and they have been trying to make progress on a move, amid Palace now looking for between €75m and €80m.

Liverpool have offered €60m, but now the ante has been upped as, according to French journalist Lassana Camara, Sarr ‘has officially requested to leave Crystal Palace’. Sarr, 28, joined Crystal Palace from French giants Marseille in 2024 and has impressed during his time at Selhurst Park.

If Crystal Palace do sign off on a late move for Sarr then they may well need to swing into action to find a replacement. Sarr was not involved in Crystal Palace’s 4-1 defeat at the hands of Manchester City on Friday night.
