Liverpool have had a perfect start to their season, winning all three of their opening Premier League games of the season.
Alexander Isak became the most expensive deadline day transfer ever, as well as becoming the record British transfer of all time.
Isak joined for £125 million and has bolstered Arne Slot’s attacking options at Anfield ahead of the season, alongside Hugo Ekitike and Mohamed Salah.
Slot raised eyebrows with his Champions League squad announcement earlier, as the Dutchman has a head scratching decision to make when it comes to his starting line up after the international break.

Liverpool beat Bournemouth 4-2 on the opening night of the season, before winning 3-2 and 1-0 against Newcastle and Liverpool respectively despite unconvincing performances.
Former Liverpool midfielder Jermaine Pennant spoke to talkSPORT about his optimism over the team’s start to the season: “When you’re not playing at your best and you still manage to get three points and win the game that’s a good sign.
“On top of that the transfer window was very exciting, it would have been the perfect transfer window if the saga for Marc Guehi had been finalised and sorted,” Pennant continued.

“Nevertheless, we’ve signed one of the best strikers in the world in Alexander Isak, and to have that in your armory is something to be smiling about,” he finished.

Slot has added Isak to an attacking unit that consists of Ekitike, Salah, Cody Gakpo and Federico Chiesa, giving the Dutchman a selection headache.
Slot has to find a way to fit all of his attacking options in whilst retaining balance elsewhere in his side, at midfield and defence.
All of this adds up to a Slot’s headache, and the former Feyenoord boss will surely have to leave out at least two of his big stars ever match day.
