Kostas Tsimikas is on the verge of joining AS Roma after a loan deal was agreed with Liverpool, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Greek left-back has been authorised to travel for medical tests ahead of completing the move.

Roma will cover Tsimikas’ wages in full until June, with no option to buy included in the deal.

The 29-year-old was keen on making the switch to Italy in search of regular first-team football.
