Southampton will reportedly allow Aaron Ramsdale to head out on loan

Aaron Ramsdale will be allowed to leave Southampton on loan this summer, according to a report.

talkSPORT have credited Galatasary and Rangers with an interest in the England keeper who is a top earner at St Mary's.

He reportedly earns in excess of £100,000-a-week states the same publication with Ramsdale's eye on England's World Cup squad next year and he wants to be playing at the highest level possible to give himself a the best chance of a seat on the plane.

After relegation to the English Championship, Saints are willing to let for the former Arsenal man leave on a temporary basis.

And when put to Troy Deeney on the breakfast show about Ramsdale and his future, he explained why a reunion with Russell Martin in Govan 'makes sense' and it would be a move to a 'huge club'.

Speaking on air, he said: "When he was at Arsenal it was labelled that he wasn't good enough with his feet.

I would love to see him at someone like West Ham you know.

I think he'd be really good at West Ham.

"But I think Rangers makes sense obviously with Russell Martin there and someone they both know.

For him, it will be a case of trying to go there ahead of the World Cup."

Meanwhile, Rene Meulensteen reckons Jordan Henderson could be a big asset for Rangers and would bring in great leadership values.

The former Liverpool midfielder has been linked to his old club Sunderland after their return to the English Premier League.

Speaking to Listofsweepstakescasinos.com, he said: “Jordan Henderson would bring some great leadership values to Rangers.

It would also be an easier move for him than returning to the Premier League.

“Sunderland will have their hands full in trying to stay in the Premier League, where he was used to being nearer the top and not fighting fires.

Rangers will have their own challenge in trying to stop Celtic and he could be a big asset for them.”
