Adama Traore has been backed to be a hit at Liverpool as speculation links the Wolves wide-man with a move to Anfield.

Former Premier League stars Darren Bent and Jack Wilshere reckon Jurgen Klopp could work wonders with the Spaniard, who has excellent all-round attributes in his game apart from a lethal finish in his locker.

South Korea international Hwang has been an instant hit at Molineux with four goals in nine Premier League appearances, and a possible permanent move could pave the way for Traore to join the Anfield club.

The Reds were reportedly interested in the Spaniard last summer but were said to have been put off by the £50million price tag placed on his head.

“His problem is consistency but in that Liverpool team, where they play with a high press and energy, it could be different.” Traore has endured a mixed time since moving to Molineux having failed to live up to his undoubted potential on a consistent basis.

However, reports have suggested Wolves are now willing to part ways with the 25-year-old as they look to raise funds to sign RB Leipzig loanee He-Chan Hwang permanently.

Traore is yet to make a goal contribution for Wolves this season, with no goals or assists in 23 appearances in all competitions, but there’s no doubting his talent and the talkSPORT pundits believes he would be ‘unreal’ under Klopp’s stewardship.
