Celebrity fans Millie Bobby Brown and Owen Cooper were among the jubilant crowd at Anfield witnessing the historic 5-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur that crowned Liverpool as 2024/25 Premier League champions.

Liverpool FC shared pictures of Brown alongside Cooper at the game from their official social media accounts, including a shot of Brown holding up a home kit shirt.

In a video posted on the club’s YouTube channel, both stars expressed their excitement about being at Anfield for such a special day.

“This is the coolest opportunity to be here, one together and two for a really special day,” Brown said in the video.

“It’s a massive day for me and everyone here, all the fans, so yeah, it’s more than special, it’s amazing,” Cooper added.

For 15-year-old Cooper, the title celebration held special significance?

Hailing from Warrington, just a short distance from Liverpool, Cooper has been a lifelong supporter of the club.

Cooper’s connection to the region runs deep.

Earlier in April, he delivered the match ball at a Super League match between Warrington Wolves and Hull F.C., demonstrating his local ties before his visit to Anfield for Liverpool’s title-clinching victory.

The young actor gained international recognition for his powerful portrayal of Jamie Miller in Netflix’s “Adolescence,” a hard-hitting British crime drama that premiered on March 13, 2025.

The four-part series, each episode filmed in one continuous take, tells the harrowing story of a 13-year-old boy accused of murdering a female classmate named Katie.

The emotionally devastating drama, created by Jack Thorne and Stephen Graham (who also stars as Jamie’s father), explores challenging themes including bullying, toxic masculinity, and how a young mind can be quietly radicalized by social media.

But despite his star role in such a serious production, the teenager still had time during the shooting of the series to poke fun at Liverpool’s archrivals Manchester United.

Speaking to Liverpool’s YouTube channel, the actor revealed the message he left in episode three of the Adolescence:

“You know the table in episode three.

Milly Bobby-Brown then replied: “I love that!”

Despite having no previous acting experience, Cooper delivered what critics have called an “astonishing” performance in the hugely popular series

It’s been reported that Cooper was selected from over 500 auditions, with the production team seeking an unknown actor from northern England for the role.
