Adrian Durham was in complete disbelief after a Leeds United howler proved the brutal blow as Fulham prevailed 1-0.
It has been a rough few weeks for the Peacocks after they missed out on several key targets in the summer transfer window such as Leeds failing to re-sign Manor Solomon from Tottenham.
The lack of attacking options has left Daniel Farke concerned for Leeds’ prospects this season, Football Insider revealed on 5 September.
Yet, a defeat by previous target for Leeds Harry Wilson and Fulham saw the Cottagers win in the dying embers of the game courtesy of a Gabriel Gudmundsson own goal.
Speaking live on talkSPORT (13 September, 4.53pm), the radio host was completely gobsmacked by the manner of the Cottagers late winner.
A corner was whipped in which hit the Sweden international square on the forehead, sending the ball into the goal.

Durham was in utter disbelief, stating: “It’s a nightmare for Leeds.
You won’t believe it until you see it.”
The presenter argued that a Fulham striker should have been at the near-post to nod the ball in yet Gudmundsson managed to bizarrely do the job in comical fashion.
Football Insider verdict
The devastating last minute defeat to Fulham adds to the German’s woes as the Whites have only managed to score once in the league in four matches.
Up top, strikers Joel Piroe and summer signing Dominic Calvert-Lewin have looked abysmal in front of goal.
Strangely, Farke also opted to start Brendan Aaronson in an unfamiliar right-wing role against the Cottagers rather than the reliable Willy Gnonto.

Four points from four is less than ideal for the Peacocks as they must find a way to get the team clicking once again to calm the Elland Road faithful.
Yet, when compared to Burnley and Sunderland who have both found ways to score crucial goals, Leeds look completely out of ideas in the attacking third, despite their rampant 2024-25 Championship campaign.
The creativity and the efficiency of the attack must improve soon, otherwise the former Norwich City boss could be facing the drop and a likely sacking.
