Liverpool are still being rumoured with a number of players as their transfer business is far from complete.
The Reds are known for their free-flowing attacking football and their forward line has been nothing short of sensational for many years now.
With the addition of Hugo Ekitike, the prospect of what their attack may look like next season is now even more frightening, with it likely striking fear into defenders’ eyes up and down the country.
What makes it even worse for them as well is that they are not finished yet and more arrivals are expected to happen, especially towards the top of the pitch.
However, although they are keen on any attackers, the arrival of a new one is completely dependent on one condition, and Liverpool fans may not like it.

Many clubs tend to have a one in, one out policy and only replace players when they absolutely must.
But Liverpool are not usually like this, and they like to have plenty of options to choose from, hence why they have recruited Ekitike.
Sales are still expected to trim the squad down slightly but the chance of a new attacker joining is completely reliant on what happens with Luis Diaz according to journalist Ben Jacobs.

“Whether they bring in another attacker, whether that be a number nine or a wide attacker, will largely depend on Luis Diaz,” Jacobs said on talkSPORT.
“Liverpool’s data suggests Diaz can still play a role next season and add to the tally of 13 he got when they won the Premier League.

“If he is sold, however, then Liverpool will have more funds and they are expected to add another attacker.
Whether that is Isak remains to be seen, but there is an opportunity to enter the race for Rodrygo.”
Bayern Munich have already had a bid rejected for Diaz but are expected to come in again with another soon, with the Colombian very open to joining.
Liverpool will only sell if a big offer arrives, however, with Arne Slot very keen to keep hold of him as he believes he is key to his plans next season.
In the past, if a player has expressed any sort of desire to leave, the Reds are usually happy to move them on and rarely stand in their way.
However, this situation is very different and fans are not really sure why, especially as there are plenty of options who could be his replacement.
Real Madrid’s Rodrygo is a player very strongly linked and one supporters would love to see arrive at Anfield, while they could reignite their interest in Anthony Gordon if Diaz does go.
Both are much younger than the Colombian and, arguably, on a similar level if not better than him, suggesting they should cash in now and move on swiftly.
