Indeed, it’s no secret that Klopp is a fan of Bellingham, stating over the summer that the only problem with Bellingham is the fact that he’s not on the market.
It will be interesting to see how Liverpool operate going forward, but if Klopp is given a prominent role in recruiting players, Bellingham may be one of his top priorities.
I think that’s the most obvious conclusion to draw, and that’s interesting.
“He’s not on the market, so that’s the first problem with that player,” Klopp said.
“Well, that’s the only problem with that player.”
Klopp clearly thinks that Bellingham is a player with very few flaws, and with the midfielder reportedly set to come onto the market next summer, it is logical to believe that the German will be looking into this deal if he is indeed handed the recruitment reins at Anfield.
So, if Klopp is going to take charge of transfers, who is he going to target?
