Gabby Agbonlahor has claimed Liverpool should not entertain parting with reported Real Madrid target Andy Robertson this summer – even for “silly money”. According to the (23 May), Real Madrid have registered an interest in signing Robertson this summer as they target a replacement for France international Ferland Mendy. report claims the Scotland captain would command a fee “well in excess of £40million”. Robertson has been a key part of Liverpool’s success since joining the club, lifting honours such as the Premier League and Champions League in 267 total appearances for the Merseysiders.
Agbonlahor told Football Insider’s Ewan Kingsbury: “I can’t see there being any chance of Liverpool letting Robertson go.
If he’s going to go to Real Madrid, it’s going to cost them silly money.
“Robertson loves Liverpool, and I’m sure Liverpool love him too – I can’t see him going anywhere.”
