Man City news: Agbonlahor hits back at Pep Guardiola as Liverpool row takes new twist
Gabby Agbonlahor has hit back at Pep Guardiola and insisted there is no anti-Man City and pro-Liverpool bias in the media.
It took another twist on Wednesday (11 May) when Guardiola told Sky Sports Man City’s spending is viewed differently to that of Liverpool and Man United.
In other news, the door has opened for Liverpool and Man City to sign a midfielder and £50million could now seal the deal.
They’ve got no bitterness towards Liverpool or Man City.
“It’s only what he sees,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
He’s going to see a lot of ex-Liverpool players and only a couple of ex-Man City players, if not, only one in Micah Richards.
I think that balance is absolutely fine.”
Man City are three points clear of Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table with a superior goal difference and two games left to play.
