Alan Shearer has criticized Alexander Isak for his lack of loyalty amidst the ongoing dispute with Newcastle.
Isak declined to accompany the club on their pre-season tour of Asia in an effort to expedite his departure.
"You've got a player who's played a massive role in one of Newcastle's best seasons ever yet with three years left on his contract says 'I don't want to play for you anymore'.
"Look, loyalty in football is a non-starter, neither from clubs or players - just look at the situation with Gianluigi Donnarumma and PSG this week.
"Look what's happened to him, the form he was in and what he did last year to help PSG achieve their dream, and yet the club comes to him and say, 'We're getting rid of you, we don't fancy you anymore, despite what you've done for us.'
"So, where's the loyalty there.
I get clubs and football players; there is no loyalty, clubs look after themselves, and players look after themselves, but there's a way of doing things.
"The way that Alex [Isak] is doing this at the moment is not the right way
It's not a good look for him or his agent who obviously have got into him."
Shearer has slammed Alexander Isak for his behaviour
