Fulham star Alex Iwobi has what it takes to inflict further woes on Aston Villa, who have endured a slow start to the Premier League season.
Although Villa beat Bologna 1-0 in their Europa League opener, their top-flight campaign has been a different story.
Unai Emery’s men have scored just one goal in five Premier League outings, which came in their 1-1 draw with Sunderland last time out.
Despite Villa’s poor start to the season, Football Insider have revealed that Emery is not under sack pressure, having guided his side to the Champions League quarter-finals last term.

Villa’s poor start to the season has largely been down tp the fact that key attackers Morgan Rogers and Ollie Watkins are misfiring.
However, the West Midlands side have also boasted a leaky defence, who have conceded five goals in as many Premier League outings.

Only three top-flight players have made more line-breaking passes than Iwobi’s 61 since the start of last season, which must concern Aston Villa ahead of their clash with Marco Silva’s men on Sunday, 28 September.
Amid Fulham’s strong start to the new season, Leeds United remain interested in Harry Wilson, who scored in the Craven Cottage club’s 3-1 triumph over West London rivals Brentford.

Silva has also got a strong tune out of Iwobi this term, with the Nigeria international notching two goals and one assist in five Premier League appearances.
The Fulham boss has been a class act since guiding the West Londoners to promotion from the Championship back in 2022, making his side an increasingly solid top-flight outfit.
Fulham’s current form suggests that they are capable of launching a serious bid for a European spot this season, and a win over League One outfit Wycombe Wanderers next month will see them through to the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.
Having witnessed Newcastle United and Crystal Palace win the domestic trophies last term, sides like Silva’s men should also fancy their chances of obtaining rare silverware.
