Alexander Isak's agent has broken silence amid the swirling transfer rumours linking the Newcastle United forward to Liverpool.
Arne Slot's side have shown their hand, revealing they are ready to discuss a staggering £120million move for the Magpies' star striker.
Despite this, Newcastle have maintained that Isak is not for sale, leading Liverpool to move towards Eintracht Frankfurt's Hugo Ekitike with a hefty £82million offer.
This follows on from United's failed £69m bid for the Frenchman, which was turned down by the Bundesliga outfit.

Isak's representative has now addressed his client's situation in an interview with Saudi Arabian outlet Arriyadiyah, where there has also been club interest in the player.
Alongside Liverpool's interest, there's been chatter about Saudi Pro League clubs eyeing the Swedish international.
In light of the intense speculation, Newcastle manager Eddie Howe revealed that Isak was pulled out from the team's pre-season defeat to Celtic last Saturday due to the ongoing transfer saga.

Howe, speaking after the game, confirmed that Isak's absence was due to the speculation about his future, yet he remained confident that his No.9 would stay put.
Howe remarked: "It was my decision [to leave out Isak].
