The agency of Alexander Isak have detailed their pride in helping the forward complete a £125m move from Newcastle United to Liverpool on transfer deadline day, describing it as "history in the making".

The Sweden international ended a summer-long saga on Monday evening when he was confirmed, officially, as a Reds player, breaking the British transfer record in the process to sign off after three years on Tyneside.

The move to Merseyside was an acrimonious one for Isak, who went on strike to force a move after missing the club's pre-season tour of the Far East by citing a minor injury, before playing no part in the pre-season schedule or opening month of the Premier League campaign.
