Isak is still hopeful that he will get his move to Anfield

As talkSPORT exclusively revealed on Friday, the Magpies have not given up hope of also signing Jorgen Strand Larsen from Wolves.

Liverpool have only made one offer for Isak so far worth more than £110million, but that was rejected.

And sources insist there is still no agreement in place yet.

If the Reds make a second approach, they do not intend to pay as much as £130million for the Swedish striker, contrary to reports.

Isak has made it clear he does not want to play for Newcastle again after accusing the club of 'broken promises' over their failure to offer him a new contract.

The 25-year-old has refused to feature in any of Eddie Howe's sides' games this season, playing no part at all.

The deadline for clubs in England is set for 7pm on Monday night.
