Liverpool are just days away from beginning their title defence and are working hard behind the scenes on some potentially huge deals.
The Reds are just off the back of a Community Shield defeat to Crystal Palace, meaning they are working harder than ever this week to put things right before their curtain-raiser against Bournemouth.
Arne Slot is close to knowing what his best XI is but things could change drastically if new arrivals come through the door, something he, and every fan, is expecting to happen.

Alexander Isak to Liverpool seems to be a love story that all Reds fans are desperate to see have a happy ending, although time can only tell if this will happen.
The Swede still only wants to move to Anfield and Liverpool are ready to pounce should Newcastle give them encouragement, although any move is on pause while they find a replacement.
However, a positive update for Reds fans is that there is a feeling that Newcastle would be willing to sell for £130m plus add-ons, rather than the £150m previously stated.
This seems much more in the region Liverpool were looking at and would likely be willing to spend, suggesting that if the Magpies do get a new striker, then Isak to the Reds is a matter of when and not if.

Liverpool have gone from wanting a centre-back this summer to looking like they desperately need one, and Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi is still one of their top targets.
And now, their pursuit of the England international may have got even better, with Palace chairman Steve Parish suggesting that Guehi might have to be sold this summer.
The Eagles have also seen their appeal to UEFA waved away, meaning they will be playing UEFA Conference League football next season rather than Europa League, something that will only help the Reds out.
Liverpool are set to hold talks with Guehi’s camp this week, suggesting this one could gain pace rather quickly.
As mentioned on Sunday, Kostas Tsimikas was left out of the Liverpool squad due to transfer speculation, with the left-back set for a move away.
Now, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the ‘Greek scouser’ is ready for a new chapter and plenty of teams remain interested.
