After one of the most epic transfer sagas in Premier League history, Alexander Isak became a Liverpool player on transfer deadline day.

It took a British-record fee of £125million to prise the Swedish striker from Newcastle, and the forward will now be aware of how his move has gone down with several members of the Liverpool squad, including Mo Salah and Hugo Ekitike.

All eyes will be on Isak this weekend with his debut potentially coming this Sunday against Burnley.



While Arne Slot has warned fans against expecting Isak to play "every single game, 90 minutes on the pitch" in the near future, it's thought he could play a small role after he played 18 minutes for Sweden during the week.

Isak is joining a Liverpool attack in a state of flux.
