Newcastle have insisted for some time that they do not want to sell and have yet to receive an official bid for Isak, but Liverpool are now on standby to make a British record offer.

Al-Hilal have also been linked with moves for Darwin Nunez and Victor Osimhen this summer.
Speaking at a press conference on Friday, Eddie Howe revealed no contract talks have been held with Isak but hopes to keep the striker at Newcastle.
He said: “Of course there’s things going on behind the scenes.
