Liverpool supporters cannot wait for the international break to be over and done with so they can finally see all their new signings in action together.
The Reds have had a transfer window like no other in their history, bringing in a total of eight new players at major expense.
The biggest of the signings are comfortably Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz.
Liverpool broke the British transfer record to sign Wirtz for £116m in June, before smashing through their own ceiling on transfer deadline day to secure Isak.
Between them, the two new arrivals make the Liverpool squad look scarily complete, and supporters are right to be excited about what the future holds.
In the immediate aftermath of his signing from Newcastle, the focus has been on how Isak and Hugo Ekitike could play together this season.
However, judging by some comments he made in 2023, the Swedish striker may actually be looking forward to playing alongside Wirtz the most.

Although Wirtz has started fairly slowly at Liverpool up to this point, there is an expectation that the German is going to be a terrific player for the Reds.
His creativity and low centre of gravity mark him out as bearing some resemblance to legendary Manchester City schemer David Silva.

In news which may be a surprise to some, Isak was actually a teammate of Silva’s after the Spaniard left City for Real Sociedad in 2020.
The pair spent two seasons together, and when asked to pick his dream five-a-side team of former teammates by the Premier League in May 2023, Isak did not even need to hear the multiple-choice options.
“I can answer that,” he said.
“David Silva.”
Asked what made Silva such a special footballer, Isak gave an answer which suggests he may very well love playing in front of Wirtz at Liverpool.
It’s really amazing to play with someone with that quality.”
“He’s always orientated before he gets the ball, he’s always prepared.”
When it looked as though Wirtz might be signing for Man City, supporters were very quick to suggest the 22-year-old could be their long-awaited successor to Silva.
The two certainly are similar in playing style, with a footballing brain on a different level to most.
Although Wirtz is yet to truly hit his straps at Liverpool, there have been plenty of signs already that he is going to bring the kind of creativity and guile that made Silva stand out.
With Isak and Ekitike ahead of him, Wirtz could not ask for better players to link-up with and create alongside.
9 went on to say in his video with the Premier League, he himself also likes to drop deep and play off his teammates.
“It’s not only the goal-scoring part,” Isak said.
But I think when I’m playing my best football it’s when I’m connected to the game and I’m involved.”
