Alexander Isak has been spotted training alone by a eagle-eyed Newcastle United fan.

It comes after Eddie Howe admitted he left the Swede out on purpose during the Magpies 4-0 friendly defeat to Celtic over the weekend.

The English manager confirmed it was to shield his striker from all the transfer speculation.

Now it looks like Isak is training alone this week, with Newcastle fan and X user @EthanBewley claiming that he’s spotted Isak training alone today:
