Newcastle United’s pre-season tour is missing one of its key names — Alexander Isak.
And now, teammate Bruno Guimaraes has shed light on the situation.
With Liverpool on the lookout for a top No.
Some insiders believe Isak himself asked not to travel, possibly because of the ongoing transfer chatter.
Guimaraes, speaking from Singapore, tried to steer clear of the off-pitch drama.
Still, his words have stirred even more curiosity.

Speaking to reporters, Bruno Guimaraes said (via Craig Hope):
“I’m really close to him (Isak).
Of course he’s a top player for us and he’s going to be a miss on this trip.
We need him ready as soon as possible.”
The Brazilian midfielder made it clear that the dressing room is aware of the swirling rumours.
“We know everything going around him… but it’s something that the club will take care of.”
With Liverpool rumoured to be readying a £120 million bid, and Newcastle holding out for closer to £150 million, this saga could go right to the final whistle of the transfer window.
