Liverpool fans can expect to hear the name of Alexander Isak on a regular basis until the transfer window closes at the end of the summer, as the Newcastle United forward continues to be linked with a sensational move to Anfield.
The 25-year-old has taken to the Premier League like a duck to water since signing for the Magpies in a £63m deal from Real Sociedad three years ago.
In total, Isak has found the back of the net 62 times in 109 appearances for the Magpies, a return that has spearheaded the club's return to the Champions League.
But is there any way Newcastle would actually part ways with Isak this summer?
Here, the ECHO takes a look at the latest surrounding the forward's future.

There have been several reports linking Isak with a move to Anfield.
But one of the most recent comes from Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, who claims the forward wants to leave St James' Park this summer.

Di Marzio adds that the Sweden international would "like to look at other options" after he was promised by the club and Eddie Howe that he would be able to do so at the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
As reported by the ECHO earlier this month, Isak has been on Liverpool's radar for several years prior to his arrival at Newcastle United.
In fact, last week, Liverpool's former head of research, Ian Graham, revealed that the Reds considered Isak in 2022, though Jurgen Klopp pushed for the signing of Darwin Nunez from Benfica instead.

Earlier this month, the Telegraph poured cold water on Liverpool's reported interest in Isak by claiming that there has been no talk between the two clubs over a potential deal for the forward.
Last week, the Chronicle reported that Howe could take a lead on contract talks with Isak in a bid to get the forward to sign a new deal at St James' Park.
The 25-year-old has three years remaining on his current deal with the Magpies.
