Liverpool's spending in the summer transfer window continued on Friday with news that Florian Wirtz had arrived from Bayer Leverkusen.
The Reds agreed a £116 million deal for the Germany international earlier this month and have now made the 22-year-old their third signing of the summer.
Following the arrivals of Jeremie Frimpong and Armin Pecsi, alongside Wirtz, Liverpool could now turn their attention to signing a left-back.
Bournemouth star Milos Kerkez is closing in on a £40m move to Anfield.
There is also the possibility that Liverpool will look to sign a new centre-back if Jarell Quansah completes a £35m switch to Bayer Leverkusen.
With all of these days either completed or close to it, Liverpool are still being linked with further new signings ahead of the September 1 deadline.

Here, the ECHO takes a look at some of the latest Liverpool transfer news and gossip that has emerged over the last 24 hours.
An update has emerged about Liverpool's reported interest in signing Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak.
The Telegraph have reported that Liverpool are yet to make any approach to the Magpies about the potential to sign Isak.
The report claims that Newcastle are demanding a fee of at least £150m before even considering allowing the Sweden international to leave St James' Park.
It has also been claimed that Liverpool will "almost certainly not" sign Isak this summer despite the frequent rumours linking the striker with a move to Anfield.
The ECHO reported earlier this month that Liverpool are huge fans of Isak as they continue to be linked with signing a new centre forward.

Liverpool are continuing to be linked with a move for Newcastle forward Anthony Gordon this summer.
TBR Football has claimed that Gordon himself favours a move to Liverpool this summer, if he was to leave Newcastle.
However, the report goes on to state that a move to bring Gordon from St James' Park to Anfield is "unlikely", with Arsenal and Chelsea also credited with an interest in the former Everton forward.
