Liverpool's big-spending summer could continue as top target Alexander Isak has expressed his intent to explore his options for a move away from Newcastle United - and many fans in the ECHO comments section are dreaming big as they imagine a terrifying forward department turning out for them next season.
The Magpies have allowed Isak to stay at home during their pre-season tour, at first saying it was down to an injury.
It is now being reported that the Swedish international has told his club that he wants to explore his options for a move away from the club, which could open the door for a dream move to Liverpool.
Newcastle consider themselves to be in a strong position, wanting Isak to stay on an improved contract, and they won't accept anything less than another Premier League record transfer to prise him away from the club.
It was reported earlier this month that Liverpool had made private enquiries to sound out a deal worth £120m to the Magpies, and there are very few clubs in world football who could offer that kind of money for Isak.

The Reds have already made a move for a new striker this summer, parting with an initial £69 million for young French striker Hugo Ekitike.
Adding the likes of Alexander Isak to their existing business would be a difficult ask, but it would leave the club with a tremendously fearsome attack.
Some fans would be delighted to see him in a red shirt, but recognise that there is still other work to do first.
Reader ScouseIan says: "Isak would be a sure bet to make us favourites to win this season's title, but we still need a CB to replace Quansah."
Commenter TGM writes: "Imagine someone telling you this time last year, that in 12 months time we'd potentially be signing the best striker in the league as Premier League champions, after we'd already spent well in excess of £200 million.
We have VVD and Gomez, plus Konate who wants out to Real Madrid."
Gb-canada says: "With Nunez potentially exiting and Diaz also wanting out, another striker will be imperative for the squad.
