Alexander Isak is continuing to be linked with a move to Liverpool this summer.
The Reds have been busy in the transfer market with seven new additions being made to Arne Slot's squad.
Hugo Ekitike was confirmed as the latest new signing earlier this week and has linked up with the squad in Hong Kong.
The France Under-21 international has joined Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez, Florian Wirtz, Giorgi Mamardashvili, Armin Pecsi and Freddie Woodman in signing for Liverpool this summer.
Isak has been linked with Liverpool for several months, with Newcastle maintaining a stance that the striker is not available for a transfer this summer.
There have also been suggestions that the Sweden international is valued at around £120million by the Magpies after scoring 27 goals last season.
Here, the ECHO takes a look at the latest on Isak's future amid interest from Liverpool with huge news having been reported on Thursday...
News emerged on Thursday that Isak has expressed a desire to leave Newcastle United this summer amid interest from Liverpool.
The Daily Mail have reported that Isak has informed the Magpies that he is considering a move away from St James' Park.

The update means that Liverpool are now on standby to make their move to sign the Sweden international if given encouragement by Newcastle.
It was also confirmed on the same day that Isak is not part of the Newcastle squad that had travelled to Asia for their pre-season tour.
The Magpies are scheduled to face Arsenal in a friendly on Sunday, but Isak was not included in the 30-man squad that has made the trip to the Far East.
A thigh injury has been cited as the reason for Isak's absence from the Newcastle squad, which has still managed to intensify the speculation of a potential transfer this summer.
Isak's contract with Newcastle is not set to expire until 2028, meaning he is still committed to St James' Park for another three years.
There have been no signs of an extension being close to being agreed between Newcastle and Isak, which has only fuelled rumours of a potential transfer to Liverpool.

A report from talkSPORT recently claimed that Isak would demand a weekly salary of £300,000 per week to either sign a new contract where he is or at a new club.
Speculation has also swirled that a move to the Saudi Pro League could be on the cards for Isak.
However, it seems that Liverpool are Isak's most likely destination if he was to leave the Magpies this summer.
