A name that is expected to feature a lot around Liverpool over the final days of the summer transfer window is Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak.
Earlier in the window Liverpool had a £110 million bid turned down, with the player releasing a statement this week, where he referenced ‘broken promises’.
That statement led to a response from Newcastle denying any promises were made to the player about a transfer.
All this comes in the build-up to the Premier League meeting between the two teams on Monday night (8pm kick-off).

Isak will not be involved in the game as he continues to train away from the main Newcastle group.
I 100 percent want to see him in a Newcastle United shirt."
Liverpool have been handed a potential boost in their hopes of signing Isak before the end of the window, with Newcastle reportedly making progress on a potential replacement.
According to the Express and Star, the Magpies are pushing hard to sign Wolves striker Jurgen Strand Larsen and have agreed personal terms with the player.
If Newcastle get close to paying that, then income from any sale of Isak would more than cover the cost.
