Liverpool remain interested in completing a swoop for Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak this summer.
The 25-year-old is keen to leave the Magpies and switch to Anfield in a blockbuster summer transfer.
The Reds made a first official bid - claimed to be worth £110million flat - for the Sweden international earlier this month, but the offer was rejected by Newcastle.
While the ECHO reported that Arne Slot's side have no plans to submit a second proposal - due to the nature of Newcastle's response to the first bid - a move could still happen.
Isak did not travel to Asia with the rest of his Newcastle teammates for a pre-season tour and he has since been told to train alone, as he pushes for a transfer to Liverpool.

With Isak firm in his stance, he's not expected to be involved for Newcastle during their Premier League curtain-raiser at Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon.
Here, the ECHO has taken a look at the latest surrounding Isak's future;
Alexander Isak is adamant he will never represent Newcastle United again, according to The Athletic.

The Swede is pushing for a transfer and is prepared to take the strongest possible action to secure a move.
Even if Newcastle refuse to cash-in Isak and he remains at St James' Park when the transfer window closes, the forward believes that his career on Tyneside is finished and he does not want to be reintegrated into the squad.
After being informed last summer that a new contract would not then be offered to him - owing to Newcastle's need to comply with financial restrictions - he made it clear that it would be his last campaign with the club.
Some at Newcastle deny that Isak's wish was expressed and that the striker had planned to discuss the situation and a potential new contract with club bosses following the conclusion of the 2024/25 season.
According to Give Me Sport on Monday, there is still a chance that Isak has a future at Newcastle despite him making it clear that he wants to join Liverpool.
The report claims that if the Reds were to withdraw completely from the running to sign Isak, then the striker would consider linking up with his teammates in training and be part of the Magpies squad once again.
Chronicle Live reported earlier this month that Isak had been told by the club to train on his own away from the rest of the Newcastle squad.
This decision came after the 25-year-old did not travel to the Far East for the club's pre-season tour, and was instead reported to be in Spain working on his fitness at the training base of his former club, Real Sociedad.
On Sunday, The Telegraph journalist Luke Edwards claimed that Liverpool could still sign Isak - before the end of the transfer window - if two conditions are met.

The first is that Newcastle manage to sign two top-class forwards to replace Isak, and the other is for the Reds to offer £150million.
However, it's claimed that both scenarios remain unlikely to happen - at this stage.
