With a busy period billed, the ECHO has taken a look at the latest rumours around the Reds and put them together into a round-up.
Joao Pedro could hold key in Liverpool Alexander Isak transfer pursuit
Liverpool could be hoping that Newcastle United strike a deal with Brighton & Hove Albion for Brazilian star Joao Pedro.
According to talkSPORT's Alex Crook, the Magpies' stance regarding Alexander Isak could weaken slightly if they sign the 23-year-old.
Should Liverpool move for the Sweden international, it will shatter their record transfer fee for a player which is on the verge of being broken by the arrival of Wirtz, who reportedly touched down in the UK on Thursday.
It has been suggested that the North East club are likely to demand around £150million for his services.
But Crook suggested that the arrival of Pedro may see their reluctance to allow Isak to go waver.
"I did mention earlier in the week that Liverpool are keen to bolster their forward lines, they are huge fans of Alexander Isak at Newcastle, who wouldn't be after his stellar season helping the Magpies qualify for the Champions League and end a seven-decade wait for silverware.
"I think this would be a difficult deal to do but it might get easier if Newcastle win the race for Brighton's Joao Pedro, that is a hotly contested one - a lot of interest from the Premier League and Europe
"I know Newcastle fear Chelsea could beat them to the punch.
"Joao Pedro, someone Brighton would cash in on for a fee of £60m to £70million."
Liverpool to make significant offer for Marc Guehi
The Telegraph have reported that Liverpool are expected to make a 'significant offer' to Crystal Palace for Marc Guehi.
The 24-year-old captained Oliver Glasner's side to a historic FA Cup win at the end of the season but the domestic cup holders face a tough battle to keep him in South London, with his contract due to expire in 12 months
It has been claimed that the Reds have moved swiftly to recoup funds after agreeing a deal with Bayer Leverkusen for England under-21 defender Jarell Quansah.
Though no formal offer has yet to be made, Liverpool are reportedly in the best position to do a deal.
Newcastle United saw four bids rejected for him last season, including one reportedly worth £64million
