As Liverpool’s tour of the Far East comes to a close following their 3-1 win over Yokohama FM on Wednesday, the Reds are set to continue preparations for the new season back on home soil.
Arne Slot’s side will take on Spanish outfit Athletic Club in a double-header at Anfield next Monday, before facing Crystal Palace in the Community Shield next weekend.
However, the name on everyone’s lips is Alexander Isak.

Liverpool’s interest in the Swedish striker is no secret, but whether they can tempt Newcastle United into selling remains to be seen.
It’s a saga with no clear resolution yet and looks set to rumble on well into the summer.
Here, the ECHO rounds up the latest on Isak as Liverpool weigh up a move for their top striker target...
According to Sky Sport Germany, Isak has already reached a 'verbal agreement' in principle with Liverpool over a long-term contract running until 2031.
The former Borussia Dortmund hitman wants to make the move to Anfield before the end of the summer transfer window, after informing Newcastle of his desire to leave.
It's added that Liverpool and Newcastle are in contact over a possible move for Isak, though the Magpies want to keep hold of the forward, who scored 27 goals in 42 appearances last season.
His proposed salary at Liverpool would be similar to that of Hugo Ekitike's following the Frenchman's £79million move to the Reds from Eintracht Frankfurt earlier this month.
While Liverpool wait for Newcastle to give the green light for a formal bid, much of the narrative on Tyneside revolves around the player’s desire to leave and the reasons behind it.
Naturally, if Newcastle were to miss out on another attacking target, it would do little to soften their stance on selling Isak this summer.
