Alexander Isak is a transfer target for Liverpool(Image: Alex Livesey/Getty Images)Newcastle United will finally consider selling Alexander Isak if Liverpool bid £130million, it has been claimed.
Isak, 25, is determined to force through a blockbuster move to Anfield before Monday's 7pm deadline.
The Sweden international is adamant he has played his final game for Newcastle, having not featured in any of his side's first three Premier League matches, including last Monday's 3-2 defeat to Liverpool.
Newcastle have been insistent throughout the summer that Isak is NOT for sale, despite his plea to leave the club.
However, the Magpies might be about to change their tune, less than 24 hours before the transfer deadline.
According to The Telegraph, Newcastle will give serious consideration to letting Isak sign for Liverpool if they receive a bid of £130m.
The Reds are expected to make a final decision on Isak based on whether the club feel that the size of the fee proposed is too good to turn down.
It's still far from certain that Isak will be a Liverpool player after Monday's deadline, but having insisted for most of the summer that his asking price is £150m, Newcastle are now prepared to lower the valuation.
Transfer deadline day is almost upon us and Liverpool still have business to do.
Liverpool remain interested in a deal for the Swede.
Meanwhile, Marc Guehi has been a player of interest all summer and Liverpool could still launch a last-minute deal for the Crystal Palace defender.
