Liverpool transfer target Alexander Isak remains at Newcastle United(Image: Mark Leech/Offside/Offside via Getty Images)Liverpool have little more than one week to complete the transfers they want to before the summer window slams shut.
In that time they could still recruit Alexander Isak and seal a number of departures.
Signing the Newcastle striker remains the most-talked about potential deal among Premier League clubs, especially with the two teams to meet at St.
There is still potential for more players, an example being Kostas Tsimikas, to make an exit before the deadline.

Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson has theorised that Isak was prompted to try and force his way out of Newcastle when they lost out to Manchester United in the race to sign Benjamin Sesko.
Speaking on Soccer Saturday, fellow pundit Michael Dawson was in the process of hitting out at the Liverpool target over his conduct.
Merson cut in, saying: "I think the straw that broke the camel's back was when Sesko went to Man United."
Isak was subject of Liverpool's rejected £110m bid when Sesko's saga was simultaneously underway, but it was only when the Slovenian's move to Old Trafford was confirmed did that coincide with Newcastle confirming their striker's absence shifted from injury to transfer related.
