Alexander Isak's representative has addressed the Newcastle striker's future amid speculation linking him with Liverpool.

Isak's representative has now addressed his client's situation in the Saudi Arabian press - where the striker has also attracted interest from various clubs.

In an interview with Saudi Arabian publication Arriyadiyah, Gonzalo Gaitan revealed: "We are indeed studying and analyzing all options, and we may be close to finalizing the next step for the player.

"Without revealing any details regarding whether Isak will transfer or stay with Newcastle."

Eddie Howe confirmed that Isak was excluded from Newcastle's preseason loss to Celtic on Saturday due to ongoing speculation surrounding his future.
