Alexander Isak has left Newcastle but ended on good terms with his team-matesAlexander Isak's final message into the Newcastle WhatsApp group was to thank them for the memories they made together with Dan Burn admitting "there is no animosity."
The Swede pushed for a summer exit, eventually getting his way on deadline day as he moved to Liverpool in a British-record deal.
Isak was left out of Newcastle's first three games of the Premier League season and was told to train on his own away from the first-team.
The striker copped criticism for his actions as he continued to push for the exit door, later making it clear that he felt he played his last game for the club.
Isak would eventually release a statement accusing the club of broken promises.
Newcastle's players continue to be quizzed on the Isak saga whenever they face the media as they waited to see whether he would remain at St James' Park or not.
Burn though insists the club have got a good deal and they all ended on good terms.
The England international said: "Alex is my mate at the end of the day, so it was a tough situation, but I'm glad that we're getting a good return on a player that we've had, and he's getting the move that he wanted.
